Dungeness RNLI lifeboat tows stricken fishing vessel to Dover

At 10am on Saturday 26 September, the Dungeness RNLI lifeboat was launched to a Rye fishing boat with two propellers fouled by ropes from lobster pots off Dungeness.

As the casualty had no propulsion, the Coxswain in charge, Roger Gillett, decided the casualty should be towed to Dover Harbour for repairs.
